I got back from playing shows in Truro and PEI with Youth Diversion from NFLD. It was an amazing weekend. Dan came down from MTL, Marielle came from Winipeg, ThoMOSH came from TO. Good times.
Time for random things going on in JD's life...

- lifting weights... gonna get cuuuuut.
- bummed about Ian leaving. I'll miss his nipples.
- beat Call Of Duty... playing it on hardest level now.

Lately:
RB played in montreal... the show was awesome. Kids went *OFF* right from the start. If you have/saw pictures from the show, I would love to see them. Mental, DM, and Justice were all insanely good too.
The next day was spent driving to Wilkes-Barre, PA for posi #'s. I had an alround good time. Sunday was by far the best day though...driving back blew ass. Highlight of Posi Fest was Jim from Champion wearing an Risky Business shirt while they played.
Sheldon and I skated tonight, I havent skated in a week or so... (note to self, skate more)
Lots of Risky Business shows coming up in the next week.

We'll go back to thursday...
After waking up and doing a whole lot of running around trying to get my passport shit figured out, I meet up with the rest of She Kills and we start the trip to PEI to play with Kevin Arnold, At The Mercy Of Inspiration and The End. So the show in PEI was amazing I though... Lots of dancing, seeing friends, eating cookies (ps. thanks Kara!!!). After that, Lindsay and I stayed at my mothers house and started to watch Donnie Darko, but of course she fell asleep.
The next day, I went to my fathers house to say 'hi' before I left. Going there always makes me miss them even more. My little sister Emily is amazing... she is tied for the coolest girl in the world (with my other little sister). I got my 'step' mom to sign my passport as my guarantor, she can do it because they arent really married and shes a civil engineer. After my Dad slips me a $50 bill drug dealer style and tells me its from the easter bunny, we set off for the show in Colbrook.
Driving on friday was nice. It was such a nice day out, and driving with Lindsay was fun. She laughed at me a lot because I'm the funniest guy in the world!!! After leaving 1 1/2 hrs after She Kills, we arrive there 30 mins before they do.
While in Colbrook, Ian and I played 'S-K-A-T-E'. It was my first real time on a skateboard this season and it showed :) Of course I lots, but it was fun... I should skate more often. She show started and a few (not so good) bands played. The venue was in the middle of this dirt parking lot, and so all the dirt got pushed inside making the place HELLA dusty. She Kills played, fun times. Ryans gf brought us all presents :) ATMOI played and blew everyone away, they play such an intense set. The End followed, even more of an intense set, but no one stuck around for it.. their loss.
Ater that show, We all decided to drive back to Halifax. ATMOI stayed with Me, Lindsay and Matt, and The End stayed with Ryan. When we got to my place we just had a big bro-down and ppl went on my computer. Such amazing guys. I fell asleep around 7am and had to get up for work at 11am.
Saturday I had to work. Boring day... Lindsay took the ATMOI guys out to eat at the Med, then they came to visit me at work. Scott(y awesome) said he wanted his PA done, but apparently backed out :)
Lindsay picked me up from work and took us to the show in D'mouth, which I had to wait outside in the fucking cold, with little 13 yr old kids annoying the hell out of me even though I was on TWO GUESTLISTS (I'm soo elite!!!). All the band were just as intense as ever... so I'm just gonna skip that and get to the after party.
After packing up all the gear, the guys start drinking and whatnot and we finally head to Sheldons who had invited ppl over. I went with ATMOI and directed them to his house... when we get there, we had two band vans and three car load of people. We knock at Sheldons door, and then he got pushed out of the way and EVERYONE just stormed in. I would say there was about 50 ppl there at least. People started to split up, some going to Reflection, some going to The Marquee. Ian and I ended up driving around in Lindsays car. Around 4 I decided to go home because again... I had to work in the morning. So I get home, thinking I have to sneak in and not wake everyone up because it is 4am. I walk down my driveway and BOTH MY CATS ARE WALKING AROUND OUTSIDE... THEY NEVER GO OUTSIDE!!! I chase them inside, and as soon as I get in, EVERYONE yells "JJJJJJJJJJJDDDDDDDDDDD!!!!!!!!!!! WOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!" ... now insted of just one band staying over, Both bands are... the end and atmoi. The night was fun... matt (merch for atmoi) is the best dude ever.. the all are actually. Everyone got lucky with girls... I think Aaron from The End locked himself in the washroom with someone and wouldnt open the door for a few hrs. I think I ended up sleeping at 8am and waking up at 10:30am for work. The Bands left to play in sussex, nb. I dont think I'll ever catch up with my sleeping. Fun weekend.

I'm a little late to say this... but I had a great birthday. I got more presents than I think I've ever got before. I worked that day, and everyone who came in I made it a point to tell them that it was my birthday :) After work we had a big party at Robie Food and then came back to my place and kinda hung out and kinda watched a movie.
Tonight I think some of us are going to Dawn Of The Dead... I'm pretty excited. I think the first will still be better though.

Today, I dont work. Today, I sit around being a fat ass, waiting for people to call me on my new house phone!
Last night I practiced with Risky Business for the first time and it was amazing. After one practice we already have 4 songs. This band is gonna be a lot of fun. Me, Ian, MikeS, and Dave. Everyone get ready to Loosin' Up, and Cut Loose.
My room mate, Lindsay, and I are saving money for the farmers market on saturday. I think she may be a little too obsessed with it.
The new Duckhunt Demo is soooo fucking good. Duckhunt 2004 motherfuckers!
Oh yea, the other day, I tattooed Mike, and he tattooed me. It was almost the funniest night ever. I'm too lazy to post pictures. Ask me if you want to see them.
